I'm Diana and i live in the village of lisbellaw, in co fermanagh. My daughter 10 and son 4 are lively and bubbly, and my kiwi partner carl works away half of the time so some.help with stuff around the house and keeping the kids entertained would be great in our busy household.

Im vegetarian but the others in the household are carnivores.

We live close to the Irish border, and on the main bus route to the airport
We have 2 rescue dogs, a cat and 30 something hens saved from slaughter.
We love to get outside in the good weather and spend time in or by the water, jetty jumping or pier jumping or building sand castles on the beach.
in cooler weather its more about lighting the fire and walks in nature when time allows.
I am deeply passionate about reducing waste and am actively involved in doing whatever i can to achieve this in my local area.

With this has come lots of stuff so any help to reorganise rooms, sheds or containers would be amazing, everything has gotten so busy trying to save mother earth that our own space has become cluttered!

I had a very enriching experience during my 12 days here, Diana has an enormous dedication to achieving a better world for her children. They are a very welcoming family, along with the dogs, puppies, and chickens :) I was able to help her mostly with her listing on Vinted and play with the children whenever I could. I also learned a lot about sustainability. Thank you very much, Diana, for your availability and for opening the doors of your home to us. Best regards to everyone there.

Diana and her family were very welcoming, sociable, and we felt involved in their daily life. That said, I think it is important to point out some practical aspects that could be relevant for future volunteers. The family adopts a lifestyle extremely oriented toward saving with habits that may require a certain spirit of adaptation.
Regarding food, great importance is given to reducing waste and there are occasions when foods near or beyond the expiry date are consumed. All in all, it was an interesting and educational experience.

My travel partner and I had a great experience staying with Diana and her family. We helped with housekeeping, painting, Vinted listings, and childcare. We also gained a lot of insight into sustainable practices, and the effort that Diana puts towards her community is truly inspiring! We were able to explore Northern Ireland on our days off, which was fantastic. I highly recommend this relaxed yet rewarding volunteering opportunity. I wish Diana and her family the very best and will miss our countless laughs. Thank you for everything❤️

My experience with Diana and her family was awesome! Diana showed us a lot of Northern Ireland, and the flexible work allowed me to try different tasks based on my interests. I usually prefer a structured schedule, but I adjusted quickly. I really admire Diana's dedication to her family, community, and no waste lifestyle. I'll especially miss her two kids, who LOVE playing games and eating lollies🤣 I'm very grateful for my time here and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a flexible and social environment!! Thank you Diana🫶

I had a really great experience staying with Diana and her family. From the first day I felt very welcome and part of the household. The work is meaningful and connected to an inspiring project focused on reducing waste and helping the local community. The house is full of life, with kids, dogs, a cat and chickens, so it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a warm and active family environment. The exchange is fair and honest, and you truly feel useful. I learned a lot and I definitely recommend this experience.
