At Ô de Casa you'll be surrounded by other Worldpacker volunteers, so you'll definitely make new friends! We're like one big family and I'm sure you'll feel like home!
As a worldpacker, you'll learn a lot and improve your skills. In our hostel, volunteers have responsibilities and autonomy. Your activities will be clear , we will keep you busy, and you will have an amount of hours a week to work at the hostel. From my experience with former Worldpackers, I'm sure you'll grow a lot as person from this collaborative way of life.

My experience at the hostel! I had an amazing time volunteering there and genuinely enjoyed every single day of the experience. I worked at reception, where I had the opportunity to meet and help guests from all over the world. I always felt respected, safe, and welcomed by both the staff and the guests. Everyone was friendly, fun, and made me feel like I was part of a big community. The atmosphere was incredible, the people were amazing, and the whole experience was unforgettable. The location also is spot on. You do make friends for life at the hostel. Party life: 10/10! 🎉🍻

It was an amazing experience but it requires a lot of energy. and there was too much partying for me. I preferred to look for a place with less partying and more quiet. I believe it's better to work only with employees who are paid to perform specific tasks at specific times. I felt that the volunteers are somewhat left to themselves. Nobody cares about the volunteers. They are at a lower level than the rest of the staff. I couldn't adapt.
The employees are all professionals and do an excellent job. I am grateful to have had the experience but it wasn't what I expected. Anyway I recommend.

Tbh i hadnt had my greatest experience in the hostel this time, but i would totally consider it as an occasional thing as so my last two experiences were outstanding. Also i’ve made very good friendships for life, as always. So, this was my third experience here and i still absolutely recommend it. Thank you very much the hostel!!

My time at the hostel was a really pleasant experience. It is, without a doubt, one of the places with the greatest diversity of people I have met, and it is incredible to see how everyone manages to integrate themselves, regardless of the language, the nationality the hostel the tastes of each one.
It doesn't matter if you stay a day, a week the hostel a month here: you leave this place with the feeling of having formed a new family.

Since I arrived, the whole team made me feel like one more member of the hostel family. They gave me a huge amount of support from the beginning, and that was precisely what helped me settle in quickly. It's a very special place where it's easy to form bonds with your teammates and with international guests, forming a large multicultural family in which we learn from one another. The good energy, the communication, and everyone's willingness to listen and learn are what make this volunteering such a great experience that everyone should try.
