The Experience

Checkin a guest in at 4am in the morning. Calling a cab for people leaving town. Making sure that everything in the house is nice and easy. That's how we would describe the position if there were no *surprises* at the night shift. But hey, everybody knows that the best stories at the hostel happens at the night shift. So if u are a late sleeper and good at hearing and telling stories, this position is for you!

If you're reading this, you're looking for a social, jam-packed, tight-knit Worldpackers experience. You want all these qualities, of course - that's why you're here. But most importantly, you're looking for a certain feeling. That feeling you get excitedly bartending on a busy Friday night. That type of feeling you get napping on the hammock after a crazy night out. That type of feeling you get laughing your butt off every night with your coworkers who are like family. the hostel was where I felt alive - and you will too. One of the greatest travel experiences of my life.

That's my second experience as volunteer in the hostel. This time i was responsible for party's promotion: night activities, organising, helping bar and etc. Hosts were totally opened for my ideas, they explained me all my tasks and after it i felt no pressure and overcontrol, so i felt really happy.

I would like to thank everyone at the hostel for making my experience really great! I have done other volunteering jobs around the world but this was by far the best one I have done, the staff are friendly and the place is great to be in, I felt safe and would recommend for anyone who is looking to try something like this :)

This is one of the best places I'd the opportunity to colaborate. It's a amazing strategy to merge a Hostel in a Club bar with several ambient. The Communication is disruptive and creative, what brings several opportunities to develop viral content strategies. Translate the "the hostel" into the digital atmosphere was a amazing job and I'm proud to be part of the #staffmaislindo!

This was my first experience using the platform and I am really happy with my choice. Sarah and Tila were exceptional hosts, very welcoming and always ready to help me with anything I needed. The hostel is very well located, making it easy to explore the city and the experience was more than positive. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time in São Paulo.
