Very nice experience. Javi and Hannah, the ones in charge, are always looking out for you and the meals are pretty good. The only detail is that the hostel is a bit far from the center, although there is a bus stop just one block away, so it's easy to get around. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a quiet place and a relaxed atmosphere.

My volunteering started as just two weeks, but I ended up extending for another month! It's a very good volunteering program, the tasks are quite easy, the volunteers' room is very comfortable, and every week they buy us groceries so we can cook whatever we want, the staff is incredible! Special mention to Hanna, Javi, Mario, Milagro and Sonia 🫶🏻 who make you feel like part of the family.

I really enjoyed my stay here! I was at the hostel in July/August during dead season and still had a great time. There were a few days where there weren't many guests but I still was able to relax and meet new people. I was able to meet so many locals too. Hanna goes grocery shopping every week so I was able to prepare basically all of my meals and snacks with food provided. I was originally scheduled for two weeks at the hostel but ended up extending for an additional two weeks. There is so much to do around Santa Ana!

Thank you so much Erica for your words! <3 We’re really sorry that we didn’t realize the deadline for leaving your review had passed. Since you stayed with us longer than originally planned, we completely missed it! :( but we really appreciated you as a volunteer and as a person. You were friendly, responsible, positive and always willing to help!. It was a big pleasure having you with us!!
Thank you again for everything and we hope to see you again one day!

I don't think I could have chosen a better volunteer program than the hostel. I felt at home from day one. I shared incredible moments with the other volunteers and together we created a very nice atmosphere. Moreover, the place is perfect for disconnecting and enjoying. Thanks to Mario, Hanna and Javi for being excellent hosts and for making everyone feel so comfortable. I hope to return someday. ❤️

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel Bell's Hostel — it was a dream. Work expectations and schedule were clear from the start, and Hannah was amazing: communicative, flexible, and supportive. The property is beautiful and spotless, the staff are super kind, and the other volunteers were welcoming and fun. There's also lots of cool stuff to do around Santa Ana. Highly recommend!
