Pilbara Park

With the property being 37 acres there is plenty of space to relax, including 2 waterholes for swimming. There's also an orchard producing lots of peaches, plums, apples, figs, and other delicious organic fruit and vegetables depending on the season.

There is a yoga studio you're welcome to use at any time, as well as classes every week you're free to join. Private bedrooms, kitchen to use and bathroom either to yourself or sharing between 2 or 3 people max depending on how many volunteers we have at the time.

The work is varied, not too hard, and a great way to experience life in the Australian bush.

Our names are Graeme and Jenni, when we were younger we travelled all over the world. Now we like the enjoy the peaceful countryside lifestyle in the Australian bush with our animals, and our freshly grown fruit and vegetables.

We are generally relaxed, peaceful and love to chat. Health and wellbeing is a big focus for us, with all food being healthy and delicious, as well as yoga being part of our daily lives. We're sure that all volunteers will feel very welcome and their work valued.

Work will usually be spent with Graeme, this time of year often planting trees on the block or re-repotting them in the nursery. We are also looking towards the upcoming winter and will be planting out the vegetable patch.

One warning to volunteers is that we are in the bush and that means there are bugs! We love all our creatures of all shapes and sizes but if you really struggle to be around the little critters, please consider before applying :)

This experience was extremely pleasant! Jenni and Graeme are the kindest, most welcoming people. The work in the garden was easy and fun, and I really learned a lot about plants & gardening. Attending Graemes yoga classes was also an amazing plus. I would absolutely recommend this experience!

this was truly a life changing experience for me and one where i gained so much in terms of knowledge, wisdom and life skills. i learnt so much about horticulture and really got to get in touch with yoga. the meals i shared with my hosts and amazing conversations are takeaways that you cannot get anywhere else. the work that Jenni and Graeme do to make a difference in this world is impeccable. this experience has found myself a home away from home, in the middle of Australia where you not only have a very lovely place to stay in but you can make real impact during your stay. thank you so much

Jenni and Greym are wonderful people. This volunteering experience exceeded my expectations. I learned so much from Greym's knowledge and passion for nature, as well as his vision of reforestation and living from the land. From the beginning, I felt very welcomed and at home. It was a beautiful opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the land and nature, and learn from people who are genuinely passionate about what they do. I'm very grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful connection with nature and a different way of living

Staying at the project was a truly special experience. From day one, I felt so warmly welcomed! I absolutely loved all the delicious food and being so close to nature. What impressed me the most was their inspiring sustainable lifestyle—using rainwater harvesting, solar panels, and wood heating. Even though my stay was short, they took me to so many wonderful places around the area. I highly recommend staying here.
