The Experience

Close to Bendigo, Pilbara Park is 37 acres of regenerated farmland. We are reforesting the land by establishing a wide range of biodiversity, including an organic food forest. The property also has a hand built stone wellness centre, offering yoga, meditation and massage, as well as an advanced tree nursery. We need roughly 3 to 4 hours of work per day, mostly in maintaining plants and gardens, nursery work, and small building projects.

This experience was extremely pleasant! Jenni and Graeme are the kindest, most welcoming people. The work in the garden was easy and fun, and I really learned a lot about plants & gardening. Attending Graemes yoga classes was also an amazing plus. I would absolutely recommend this experience!

this was truly a life changing experience for me and one where i gained so much in terms of knowledge, wisdom and life skills. i learnt so much about horticulture and really got to get in touch with yoga. the meals i shared with my hosts and amazing conversations are takeaways that you cannot get anywhere else. the work that Jenni and Graeme do to make a difference in this world is impeccable. this experience has found myself a home away from home, in the middle of Australia where you not only have a very lovely place to stay in but you can make real impact during your stay. thank you so much

Jenni and Greym are wonderful people. This volunteering experience exceeded my expectations. I learned so much from Greym's knowledge and passion for nature, as well as his vision of reforestation and living from the land. From the beginning, I felt very welcomed and at home. It was a beautiful opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the land and nature, and learn from people who are genuinely passionate about what they do. I'm very grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful connection with nature and a different way of living

Staying at the project was a truly special experience. From day one, I felt so warmly welcomed! I absolutely loved all the delicious food and being so close to nature. What impressed me the most was their inspiring sustainable lifestyle—using rainwater harvesting, solar panels, and wood heating. Even though my stay was short, they took me to so many wonderful places around the area. I highly recommend staying here.
