Sabia Savia

We live in the wonderful natural environment of the Reloncaví estuary, the first fjord of Patagonia!
During your days off you have many options to stroll and visit beautiful places (trekking, lagoons, waterfalls, hot springs, kayak rental, biking...)

We have built a cabin available to volunteers.
It is close to our house, in the forest with a beautiful view of the estuary.
It is small and rustic but has a small gas stove, a heater, and a room with two beds.
It has a dry toilet and a solar shower.

Internet is somewhat limited since we have Wi-Fi only in our house. The volunteers' cabin does not have Wi-Fi. If you bring a phone with a SIM from Entel you will have 4G in your cabin.

We usually meet in the morning at 10:00 to start the activities.
We leave in the cabin a base for you to have breakfast before 10:00 (oats, honey from the area, homemade jams, tea, coffee and herbs from the garden for infusions)

On the days we work together we offer lunch and dinner which we rotate cooking!
On your days off you can cook in the cabin. You will have salt, oil, lentils, cooking utensils and gas available for cooking.

The activities are varied, so most likely you will be able to experience a little bit of everything!
During the day we alternate moments of work and convivencia and we also respect everyone's privacy!
It will be five years since we started hosting volunteers and we love this way of sharing, learning and supporting each other!!

We loved our stay with Gabi, Seba, and Naú. The place is beautiful, between mountains and forests, with a view of the estuary and the volcano. We learned a lot from them, both about the work and about their stories and experiences. They were organized and calm. Working on their life project, so inspiring, felt like lending a hand to some friends; it felt light and enjoyable. In our free time we enjoyed nature and the books in their library. They were open with their space, they took care that we were comfortable, everything was just as we agreed and we never lacked anything. Thanks for everything, guys!

Our stay at the guys' place was beautiful. We felt super comfortable. The views of the estuary, the hills, and the volcano are a wonder that renews itself day by day. They live in a paradise. The little cabin provides privacy and comfort. The tasks are fieldwork and they become enjoyable thanks to sharing. The guys are open to dialogue and seek to make one feel comfortable. We really enjoyed sharing day-to-day life with them, chores, meals, conversations and laughter. We were very inspired by their travel stories and their life project. Some friends. Thanks Gabi, Seba and Nau. I hope we cross paths again 💫🙏🫂

Host cancelled our stay few weeks before we were supposed to come.

Gabrielle replied

Yes, it was a pity, but a few weeks before their arrival we had to cancel. Jakub was going to come for a few days, and we were in an important project for which we needed a lot of technical help, and a highly qualified person in this field happened to propose coming for a month to help us! The proposal was too good, so we had to cancel the arrival of Jakub and his partner. This is the first time this has happened to us, and we did it with as much advance notice as possible. Again, I’m sorry.
