My experience as a volunteer at the hostel was amazing. From the very first moment I felt very welcomed and at home. JC was always attentive to everything and was always willing to help us in whatever we were involved in. I was able to enjoy each activity, learning a lot and sharing unique moments with wonderful people. It was an incredible experience that helped me grow a lot as a person and that I will always remember with great affection. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to live this experience!

My experience at SurfNest and with Jc was wonderful!!! I was welcomed with open arms and already getting to know the volunteers a bit, since Jc introduced us through a WhatsApp group beforehand, I think that helped me arrive more at ease. The schedules and the work responsibilities were not heavy at all. I had more than enough time to explore Puerto, make friends and go out partying. Jc was a very good host and was very kind to me from the beginning, I am very grateful for this opportunity and I can highly recommend him!!!!

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have chosen a better option. The hostel for me was like a home. Both the volunteers and the guests and JC have an amazing vibe; I think it's a special place because somehow we all clicked in a very cool way. I literally felt at home. I will always be grateful to JC for this opportunity that changed my outlook on life and opened my mind even more. This experience allowed me to meet travelers from Mexico and from all over the world; I was able to practice my English, as well as develop customer service skills.

Doing my volunteer work here is one of the best experiences I've had in my life. I learned a lot about how a hostel works, I practiced my English and met people from all over the world. I can say with certainty that I made friends who will stay in my heart forever and that I will not forget. It became my second home. The team that formed among the volunteers was beautiful. Hani, Caro, Thomas and Mara. Each conversation, adventure and anecdote with them is unique and special.
Thanks JC for being a great manager and mentor, for always being flexible, supporting us and listening to us.
