Travelers will find in Vagabonds a proper travelers' home.
A resting spot from the hikings, sailings or ridings of their lives. A cozy home were to chill under a blanket in front of the fire or sharing a glass with fellow ramblers.
Watch movies, talk of everything and nothing and get ready for a Irish pub at night!
Other than that we organize meals together, we party together..
And you always have enough free time to follow your projects.
The staff here is a big enlarged family. A lot of former volunteers live now in Belfast on their own but they still come visit the nest; some of them jumping back from the other side of the world just to pop in for one. On the job we help each other out and we are always flexible with shifts and chores. The job is 1,5 - 2 hours cleaning the hostel everyday, plus 1 afternoon shift and 1 breakfast shift per week where you are in charge of the reception. Totally 23-28 hours per week most of which you will spend on the couch chatting and laughing.

I was only at Vagabonds for 4 weeks. This was the most fun, amazing, incredible, life lesson learning time of my life. The hosts Rich and Bob are absolutely chill, amazing, professional, and just awesome people. First time doing WorldPackers and traveling full time in Europe. This was an amazing stepping stone for hostel stays and volunteering at hostels. This was the most fun I've had in my life. I love Belfast, Vagabonds, and the people I have met there eternally now. Rich, Bob, and my fellow volunteers started out as strangers but quickly became what I consider friends for life. Peace💕

Vagabonds was very good and friendly the staff were lovely and welcoming I had a lovely place to sleep very cozy the job was easy and fulfilling, this was my first worldpackers experience and would go again. X

Vagabonds is a very homey and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Bob, the manager, is easy to talk to and very helpful when it comes to getting settled into the routine, and the work hours were as described. The fellow staff members during my stay were lovely, and there is always something you can find to occupy your time! There is an expectation to hang out with and entertain guests, which is a good opportunity to meet new people from all over the world, and there is always time to take for yourself. I would highly recommend a stay at Vagabonds :)

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was awesome! The work was pretty chill and exactly as agreed upon and we were left with a lot of time to explore the city. Bob was super welcoming and made it a very comfy time!
