My experience at the hostel was wonderful! It was my first time volunteering, and I enjoyed it immensely. The staff at reception were always attentive, and Anita—who spoke Spanish—was a huge help with communication, which made everything much easier. I met some incredible people, both fellow volunteers and guests, and had the chance to practice my English in a lovely, welcoming environment. The owners also made a kind gesture by inviting us to share a special moment with them, which I truly appreciated. I was also assigned a room exclusively for women, which made my stay even more comfortab

I had a great experience at the hostel, there was lots going on and it was super easy to meet people and make friends and all the other volunteers and staff were the best. The work was relatively simple and stuck to the hours agreed upon and the hosts were extremely accomodating with me adjusting the time of my shift and days off in order to suit my plans. The only issue I had was I was unaware that I would have to be sharing a room with guests instead of volunteers and could only have the top bunk but this wasn't a huge deal.

Laura and Julien created a super cozy, homey vibe place; the receptionist, volunteers, and team events were amazing! While tasks and the arrangement are clear from the get go, staying in upper bunk beds in guest rooms with frequent room moves can be inconvenient sometimes. Cleaning across 3–4 locations required constant running around though tasks are manageable and easy. The main issue is organization: communication is lacking, and because management is so busy, it can be hard to get answers to questions from Laura sometimes. Either way I still enjoyed it! Thanks for having me!

I had an amazing time at the hostel as a volunteer! The owners, Julien and Laura, run this place with genuine care and integrity-they are supportive and always stay true to their word. Gabby, Ana and Lyanne at the front desk are absolute gems; so friendly, helpful. They were all quick to respond and showed immense understanding during a though time for me. The community vibe here is incredible, and the entire team makes you feel right at home. Whether you're staying as a guest or joining the team, the hostel is truly a special place in Budapest!

The hostel was my family in Hungary! This volunteering was excellent from every point of view! They are flexible with shifts, the tasks are very simple and the hostel facilities are also very good! Both the owners and the receptionists and the other volunteers have been very kind and always willing to help so that the stay in Budapest is unbeatable. There is a beautiful and unique energy in the hostel! I sincerely thank from the bottom of my heart to everyone who was part of this experience ❤️
