The Experience
We are currently looking for a person who could oversee / check / manage the cleaners. They do a good job, but some details could definitely be improved. The person should have an eye for it, a kind personality to explain to them, and the will and reason to do it if needed. Our goal is to provide a great experience to our guests. Having a clean bathroom is nice, no soap in the dispenser or no hand towel brings the experience down as an example.

The hostel is an incredible place and gave me the best experience I could have asked for. Laura and Julien are so kind and understanding and made me feel right at home. They were flexible with the schedule and the agreed upon hours were always respected. The hostel is so homey and the receptionists and cleaners are wonderful people that welcomed me in. The work is easy and reasonable and up to you to make the most of your time. The hostel is located near all public transportation, good food, the river, & is very safe. I met amazing people and made lifetime friendships. Thank you dearly, the hostel!!

It was a great experience to work at the hostel. Laura and Julien are super nice and the work hours are good too. There isn't too much to do unless there are a lot of guests staying at the hostel. They provide a great apartment to volunteers and I got to meet people from around the world and made lifelong friends. Budapest is an amazing city and there is a lot to do. I would definitely recommend it!

I had an amazing time working as volunteer in the hostel, Julien and Laura were helpful and very flexible during my stay. Plus, they were awesome as hosts, always answering fast and providing what I asked for :) the staff was also very friendly and easy to get along. The volunteers stay in a different apartment so we have more privacy and comfort, which is great. I definitely recommend volunteering here!
