We are currently looking for a person who could oversee / check / manage the cleaners. They do a good job, but some details could definitely be improved. The person should have an eye for it, a kind personality to explain to them, and the will and reason to do it if needed. Our goal is to provide a great experience to our guests. Having a clean bathroom is nice, no soap in the dispenser or no hand towel brings the experience down as an example.

My experience at the hostel was wonderful! It was my first time volunteering, and I enjoyed it immensely. The staff at reception were always attentive, and Anita—who spoke Spanish—was a huge help with communication, which made everything much easier. I met some incredible people, both fellow volunteers and guests, and had the chance to practice my English in a lovely, welcoming environment. The owners also made a kind gesture by inviting us to share a special moment with them, which I truly appreciated. I had a great experience at the hostel, there was lots going on and it was super easy to meet people and make friends and all the other volunteers and staff were the best. The work was relatively simple and stuck to the hours agreed upon and the hosts were extremely accomodating with me adjusting the time of my shift and days off in order to suit my plans. The only issue I had was I was unaware that I would have to be sharing a room with guests instead of volunteers and could only have the top bunk but this wasn't a huge deal.

I had an amazing time at the hostel as a volunteer! The owners, Julien and Laura, run this place with genuine care and integrity-they are supportive and always stay true to their word. Gabby, Ana and Lyanne at the front desk are absolute gems; so friendly, helpful. They were all quick to respond and showed immense understanding during a though time for me. The community vibe here is incredible, and the entire team makes you feel right at home. Whether you're staying as a guest or joining the team, the hostel is truly a special place in Budapest!

My experience at the hostel was really unique, as the place is so cozy and you feel at home. The tasks were really easy, as it only comes to cleaning and doing beds, and you can do it at your own pace. The shifts are 5 hours long, but you can take little breaks in between. I'm so grateful I got to share with such an amazing team and volunteers, plus the incredible hosts Laura and Julien. I loved the little events and the opportunities to hang out with the team and guests. the hostel is definitely a great place if you want to get to explore Budapest, and I would recommend it.
