I'm giving the host 3 stars. I met wonderful local people, especially Herman and John, and experienced a warmth and culture I will always treasure. However, the volunteers' accommodation is 3 km from the lodge, there is no Wi-Fi in the house, shopping depends on transport, and meals are mostly pizza or burgers. Most importantly, an incident involving Anika during my final days deeply affected my experience. It happened in front of the owner, who did not intervene. I fulfilled my commitment professionally until the end. I wish I could have given 5 stars.

We experienced a polite, helpful and always willing to share ideas. We would like to clarify that volunteer accommodation is 1.5 km from the resort, not 3 km. Our staff facilities are still being completed. Meals were offered from our à la carte menu, including meat, fish and vegetarian options. We are concerned about the incident involving Anika, as we are unaware of what happened. We wish you had raised your concern during your stay so we could have addressed them immediately. Best wishes
