I spent 72 hours at this hostel from July 1 to July 4 (the host modified my arrival date after I left).

I left early because I felt that the staff at the hostel made several unnecessary assumptions about my interests and abilities, and showed a lack of interest in working with me to resolve misunderstandings.

The truth is I only spent one day at work, and I told him we would make corrections because I understood it was his first day. He just forgot to dust off some furniture, and just for that observation I think he is uncomfortable. I think that if it's his first time doing it, it's normal that some attentions are given until he learns the system well, but given the language's limited understanding maybe he interpreted it wrong.

Look, I have no doubt about the good intentions that Diana and Juan have. But that isn't enough.
It's clear to me that they don't have much idea on what a Hostel is. There is no rules, no infrastructure at all, no methodology. Everything seems to be freestyle, and they seems to take decisions as their are needed. There's no prediction. For instance, there was an robbery issue on my staying. Money, watches, perfumes, clothes, you name it. All out of the sudden, anyone was as suspect. The owners didn't get seconds thoughts before pointing the finger to anyone, including you or me. Terrible.

Everyone blamed each other, but they didn't want to use the lockers when a secure place for sensitive belongings was provided, and because of this incident more security measures were taken by installing more cameras to prevent these inconveniences from happening again.
