The Experience

We are on a 4-hectare estate with meadows and forests of oaks, birches, chestnuts, and laurels, and we enjoy a small and beautiful river with natural pools that runs through the property. My stay here has been great! I got to improve my Spanish, learn about nutrition and most importantly learn crucial information about our climate. The spaces are clean and the food is AMAZING, you never go hungry here!! Thank you:))

From the moment I arrived until I left, they were very attentive, very good friends and hosts; both Marcos and Mery are a love of a person and I learned a lot about environmental and social impact, nutrition and dietary compatibilities, and martial arts with Bo (even though I didn't push him too hard because of a shoulder problem). They helped me a lot to improve my eating habits and to recover my shoulders with information and ecological products that helped me a lot. Mery's COOKIES ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD AND ARE 100% ECO-FRIENDLY, just as all the food was the best. A big hug

This place leaves me speechless… It was my first experience volunteering, and the only thing I regret is having stayed so little time. Marcos and Mery are spectacular. From Marcos I learned many new things, I developed a huge love for reading (they gifted me 3 books 🙉🫶🏼❤️) and to find the balance between body and mind, on the other hand I gained a lot of awareness about the environment and the way one can live in harmony with nature. Mery is a complete sweetheart, very helpful and makes a very tasty (very organic) meal… I have to come back to this place, yes or yes!

I'm very sorry to have to inform you that the experience wasn't as I expected, given the hosts' poor organization regarding the tasks to be carried out and the way of communication between them and with the volunteers. I hope that other people do feel comfortable in the reserved place, because the surroundings are wonderful, and the hosts (if they change certain aspects such as communication) have a lot of potential to offer a good stay.

Excellent treatment from Marco and Maria; I only stayed one week and they had no problem with me leaving earlier than planned. I really enjoyed playing with their dogs and their animals. In my last days we kayaked with Maria; it was a very beautiful experience. Highly recommended for first-time volunteers and for people with mobility (car).

Hi Christian, we ran out of time to give you a reference because we didn't notice yours. Sorry.

We want to recommend Christian to all hosts. He is a good person, reliable and hardworking. He has traveled and has lived, and you can talk about anything with him. We wish you the best on Worldpacker and thank you for your help. A hug.
