Woodland Escapes offers a peaceful environment surrounded by nature. During my stay, I had the opportunity to try a variety of tasks, including walking the dogs, cleaning apartments, gardening, painting a staircase, using a leaf blower, and learning how to saw the home. This made the experience more diverse and allowed me to develop new practical skills. Penny was also kind enough to take me to explore Ludlow town centre. It's a lovely place for those who enjoy nature and learning new things.

Woodland Escapes is a peaceful place surrounded by nature. Penny picked me up at Ludlow station and showed me the available rooms, so I could choose my own. The work is quite varied: walking the dogs in the woods, cleaning the apartments, and helping with the garden. I also enjoyed seeing the local wildlife around the property, including squirrels, rabbits, and moles. Overall, it's a quiet environment and a good experience for those who enjoy nature and varied outdoor tasks.

I had a fantastic month at Woodland Escapes and would highly recommend it. Penny is a brilliant host who always stuck to the agreed hours and created a welcoming atmosphere. I helped build pathways and steps, carried out grounds maintenance including strimming, pruning, weeding and tree work, plus housekeeping in the lodges. Dom was always happy to teach and have a laugh. The scenery is stunning, the accommodation and food were great, and it was an unforgettable experience. Just be prepared for a mix of light and physical work. Would recommend to anyone - and would return for sure!
