Description

The small contribution helps us cover basic hosting costs and keep the daily help light and relaxed, so helpers have time to rest, explore, and enjoy local life. It also supports small improvements to the property and our long-term dream of creating a small educational farm, possibly welcoming animals in the future. For now, we’re not an animal shelter, professional eco-project, or business, but a private hospitality and cultural exchange.

The Experience

We live in a quiet, renovated house near Ivrea, close to the historical Via Francigena. We are looking for help with simple daily tasks like gardening, keeping the space tidy, and welcoming slow travellers. We currently have two dogs, and in the near future, we hope to host other animals too, such as donkeys and chickens, mostly as companions. If you enjoy silence, nature, and a simple lifestyle, you will feel at home here.

This was my first Worldpackers trip and words can't describe how incredible it was! Staying with Simon and Milena felt much more like a dream vacation than volunteering.
They are exceptionally kind, welcoming and caring hosts who drove me to breathtaking local spots and made me feel right at home. The help was super easy (~2 hours a day with light gardening or meal prep), leaving tons of time to explore surroundings and meet amazing people.
I loved every second so much that I even extended my stay. If you have the chance to stay, take it without hesitation. I couldn't recommend it more :)

Milena & Simone are as cozy as their home. Coming to Ivrea was an amazing experience and I will always be grateful. Hoping to come back soon to enjoy some arepas and hogao together again! :D

I don't have enough words to express how beautiful this experience was. Milena and Simone gave me not only the opportunity of the house, but also their warmth and experiences. The place is beautiful, the work was the easiest thing to do, and Loki and Emma were so welcoming too. I highly recommend this volunteer if it is your first experience abroad or if you want to connect with the environment and people. Finally, the lakes were gorgeous, and the area was covered with tons of history.

Para colombianos: Parce, acá es una chimba, si quiere parcharse este es el mejor lugar :)
