I had such a lovely time at Mark’s farm in Kamikawa! 🌿 It's a beautiful, rustic home tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by stunning nature, waterfalls and endless opportunities to explore. Life here is wonderfully slow and peaceful. The gardening work was super fun, and no previous experience is needed, so it's a great place to learn new things and enjoy being outdoors. The farm is an older, well-loved place, which gives it so much character and charm. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, and there's a grocery store conveniently close by. One of my favourite things w

I honestly loved this place. its surrounded by mountains, nature, so much green. its super quiet and grounding. of course the house isn't the newest and needs some love here and there but thats something i knew from the pictures and also Mark telling me in advance. If you need time off from a busy life, city hustle etc., this is the perfect place

Mark's house is a beautiful place in a beautiful part of Japan. I really loved the time I spent there, you have lots of time to do your own thing and get in touch with your creative side (especially because when I went in August it was too hot during the day to be outside). the project is lovely and it was a pleasure to learn and contribute to it. If you're looking for a place to really relax and be a part of a home that has been shaped by those living there in the past, then I would highly recommend.

Mark's house was great! Cute, quaint, beautiful, and creative home in the Japanese countryside. Beautiful area and there is even a secret swimming spot Mark will show you! The house has so much character and each volunteer leaves an imprint of their visit. 10/10 would recommend but if you come in summer months bring cool clothes and prepare for the Summer heat!! (It gets very very hot) come here if you are a free spirit, are open minded, artistic, and want to meet some other cool travelers and of course Mark. Thank you for the stay Mark!!

Staying here was really fun! Its a great place to slow down your travels and take in the Japanese country side. The people staying here were great and the work was very reasonable.
