I spent over a months here volunteering as an the host in Hanoi and can say that it was definitely worth it. The students were warm, funny, and motivated. The class load was very light. The local team was kind and friendly, and Hanoi became a second home: the food, the coffee, the chaos, all of it. It's not the most structured program — schedules shift and plans change — so you need to be flexible. But if you show up with an open mind, you'll get a lot out of it.

I volunteered at the host for two weeks and had a really positive experience. The workload was quite light, usually taking place in the evenings, which left me with plenty of free time to explore, discover, and wander around. You'll especially enjoy this experience if you like peaceful and calm residential areas, as the location has a very relaxed atmosphere. I had the opportunity to teach both online and offline with adults, and I also got the chance to work with kids, which was a great experience.
