I had an amazing time volunteering at this hostel. I met genuine people from all over the world, built deep connections and improved my English and French. A special thanks to Eloïse who was supportive , flexible and always matched volunteers with activies they enjoyed or matched. For 20h per week you get free accommodation , breakfast and other greats perks. I highly recommend this experience. It was one of the best of my life:)

I had an amazing time at the hostel! Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive, including the hosts, volunteers, staff, and guests. I especially loved hosting walking tours around Old the hostel and socializing during the Wednesday community dinners. The atmosphere always felt warm and full of positive energy. A special thank you to our manager Eloise, who was fantastic, approachable, and always receptive to feedback and new ideas. the hostel gave me unforgettable memories, great friendships, and an experience I will always cherish!

I had a great time at the hostel!! As part of volunteering I was able to get involved in a lot of activities at the hostel and in the hostel. I practiced speaking French and made friends with the guests and other volunteers! Would highly recommend :)

I had the opportunity to practice my English, and the place had all the comforts needed to enjoy a great stay. I had a wonderful time, learned so many things, and met amazing people. I had a great stay and leave with a lot memories. The activities are very diverse and I was able to profit from some really nice opportunities (staff activities, staying at the hostel in Ottawa, Igloofest, etc.). Also the work tasks and amount were manageable and my time off was respected as well. The managers and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. the hostel is a fun city and the hostel is a great place to stay. :)
