The Experience

Our social enterprise was started by an international family and is carried forward by its members and local friends. It is the local expression of a wider network working on sustainable development, intercultural dialogue and peace, always with a glocal approach. Join us in restoring old terraced lands, welcoming travellers, and building connections in a medieval hilltop town.

I had a wonderful experience working, communicating, cooking and having fun together with other international volunteers and locals. Santa Agata de Goti is a special place, similar to other ancient Italian hill towns and unique it its own ways. I had an opportunity to immerse in local culture, history, music, and unlimited opportunities to practice Italian, specifically Napoletanian version of it. Grateful to Stefano for his endless, bountiful enthusiasm and inspiration, willingness to share and for creating opportunities for people to connect.

So beautiful place to enjoy the nature and the peace of the little town, there are many things to do, very exciting, could work in the farm and the hostel in many areas, Stefano is a very kind person and very flexible, I loved this place and all people that meet. Thank you very much and I hope to come back soon to help with Filo project.🙌

It was my first volunteering project and I couldn't choose a better one! Everyone is so welcoming and supportive with anything you need. It is really a community, everyone knows each other and respect their work ethic, so will recognize everything very quickly. It's still a developing project so you need to be patient with them and help them with anything they need and also for the moment they don't have specific schedules or directions for the volunteers, so you will have your own schedule and work (bring your ideas for improvement or something to do with the community of the city).🫶🏼

Stefano and his whole family were incredibly welcoming and kind throughout our stay. They don't simply give you fixed tasks, instead they take the time to sit down with you, understand your skills and interests, what youd enjoy doing most, and brainstorm together about how you could contribute to their project. Overall a very warm and enjoyable experience!
