This was my first time volunteering and I had a great time. The people at Barefoot made me feel welcome and I really got to enjoy things at my own pace. The tasks David gave me were well explained and easy to do. I didn't feel pressured to do things I didn't want to do and I got to see all the landmarks in my own time. Thank you for having me!

The hostel backpacker was my first volunteering experience and it was so good. The staff is really nice and helpful with the tasks you have to do. They also recommended a lot of places in Siquijor and went on tours with us. the hostel is a chill, social and sharing hostel. Would go back for sure!

I had the best time at the hostel! The work was really chill and the team was incredibly nice. We had a lot of time to visit the island and the staff went out of their way to show us their favorite spots. Overall, it was one of my best volunteering experiences so far!

Hello ^^ I spent two wonderful weeks at the hostel! A truly incredible, unforgettable, and completely unique experience! It was my first time volunteering, and I'm so happy to have started this adventure here 😽😽 I want to thank David for welcoming me to his team 🤘. I was in charge of painting, and it was such a great activity, super fun, I loved doing it! During my stay, there were many other volunteers, the atmosphere was amazing, I had so much fun, I know I'm going to miss this place for a very long time 😭🌟 Thank you so much for having me, I will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved my time at barefoot ! The hostel is so chill and cozy, and I got to meet so many great people (locals and other volunteers). The hours and workload were super chill and the vibe is great ! The island is absolutely stunning and there are often tours offered by the barefoot family to show guests and volunteers the islands hidden gems and best kept secrets.
I spent an insane two weeks there and hope to come again asap !!!!!
