My experience was beautiful, I focused a lot on the nature of the place, building, remodeling and making it more comfortable, I also connected a lot with the locals, with the family that opens their doors wide, so that any kind of need you may have can be met, I am extremely grateful for everything I lived in this place, Giba and Maysa are incredible people, every day I spent with them was beautiful and very comforting for any issue that may arise, I highly recommend it and if you’re looking for a true connection

It's an incredible place. Every day I lived there I enjoyed it to the fullest. They are a beautiful family: Giba, Maysa and Serena. I like to emphasize that it's a very sociable place. During my stay I met many of their friends who came to hang out with them, I learned a lot about construction, I greatly improved my Portuguese, I tasted a lot of typical Brazilian food. I got to know incredibly beautiful places in the area, both beaches and the town. It's a place with a lot of energy to connect with yourself. I would choose them a thousand times, and I am sure it's a place I will return to as a friend <3

My experience on the project was short but very good.
I only stayed 10 days and would have liked to stay longer.
We got along really well with the construction tasks; it was fun and I learned a lot about them.
Gibá and Maysa are good people; I really enjoyed meeting them.
The house is lovely and waking up to the birds' songs is priceless.

The project is an amazing place, full of good energies and it's beautiful to see this bio-built house.
Here everyone sleeps and wakes up early, the clay walls are not soundproof, so respecting these hours are important.
Serena is a smart girl, full of energy, curious, and fun… like every child she also needs attention and love so a few tips: she loves to grab tomatoes and eat them too, she loves arts and dance so not to be said…
Giba and Maysa are much more than hosts became my friends, I learned a lot from them and I'm sure I'll come here many times yet.

Volunteering at the project was incredible, Maysa and Giba are wonderful hosts, always concerned with our well-being, open dialogue and scheduling flexibility. Serena is a precious and calm child. We had the opportunity to sleep in a super comfortable room and every day there was the possibility of hitching a ride with the family to the city center. We worked on the volunteers' room bi-construction, using bamboo a pique techniques, rammed earth and esterilhas. The meals offered were super healthy, with fruits, roots and many fruits from the large garden they have.
