The Experience

To sharpen language teaching or give students a global perspective. Teachers who are looking for a change of pace, or just feel like they are getting into a dull routine, might want to consider teaching overseas. We prefer to call it an Agro-Edu-well-being-Hub rather than a conventional and stereotyped system. "Integrated and Experiential teaching and learning" is what we does.

Volunteering at the school exceeded my expectations. Anish and Maya have incorporated volunteer teachers into the vision they have for the school, so I felt as if my work made a real impact on the children. The teaching schedule is flexible - they listen to volunteer preference when assigning us to different students, class ages, and subjects. The volunteer accommodations are adequate, with personal bedrooms, a small common space, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a nice front-porch area. On the weekends, I was able to take trips around Kerala. The school food is delicious too!

Max Freeman is a remarkable individual whose commitment to holistic education and innovative teaching methods has left an enduring impression on Poornodaya Vidyanikethan. His Story Board and Mapping activities have become integral components of our educational approach, enhancing the overall learning experience for our students. I wholeheartedly recommend Max for any future projects, as his passion, creativity, and dedication make him an invaluable asset to any team. Worldpackers would be fortunate to have such an exceptional volunteer as part of its global community.

I had the most amazing time volunteering in the school. The work hours were fair, and the students simply the best. I appreciated that us volunteers had freedom to use our own talents and interests and free hands to teach the students what we wanted to share. I taught yoga, meditation and arts and crafts. The whole school is beautiful and the volunteer house local but spacious and comfortable. Anish and the whole family are extremely welcoming, and you feel at home and part of the family. The local teachers are also very welcoming, though there were sometimes language barrier challenges.

I had the pleasure of hosting Julia as a volunteer at Poornodaya Vidyanikethan, and I cannot express enough how grateful we are for her invaluable contributions to our holistic educational project. Julia's focus on Yoga and Art and Painting brought a refreshing and creative dimension to our learning environment. Julia's time at Poornodaya Vidyanikethan was nothing short of transformative. She brought a unique blend of creativity, passion, and dedication, leaving a positive and lasting impact on our students and our project as a whole. We wholeheartedly recommend Julia to any future host, and we would be honoured to welcome her back anytime.

My experience as a volunteer in the school lived up to my expectations. I had never teach children before, the whole team (teacher, director, etc.) was there to help me do my daily tasks better. The house they provide us with is clean and spacious.

The volunteer's dedication and patience in working with children with diverse needs, especially considering her status as a new teacher, have been truly remarkable. Her willingness to learn and adapt quickly to meet the children's requirements has had a significant impact on their development and well-being. Her compassionate approach and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of these children are greatly appreciated. We are fortunate to have had such a dedicated and caring volunteer on our team.

I had a really nice experience at the school, so joyful, funny and also challenging sometimes, i loved that! I received a really warm welcome from every one around it, from the kids, teachers, neighbors, just everyone made me feel like in home, Nani!🙏 unfortunately I needed to leave 2 weeks before for a special case, so I couldn't join them as much as I would like to....i really appreciate your attention at any time, thank you all of you to share this beautiful experience 🍃 Hope to see you soon again❤️

Nauzet Miguel's organizational skills are commendable as well. He efficiently plans and executes the sessions, ensuring that the necessary equipment and materials are readily available. He also maintains clear communication with the school administration, teachers, and parents. In summary, the all-rounder yoga volunteer Nauzet at our primary school has proven to be an invaluable asset to our community. His exceptional skills, dedication, and genuine care for the well-being of our students have had a profound impact. We wholeheartedly recommend Nauzet Miguel as a volunteer to any educational institution seeking to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional development of their students through the practice of yoga.

The school board and all of its staff are kind and welcoming. The place is beautiful, accommodation and food are adequate and the Indian children are adorable. I strongly recommend this host.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Adriana's involvement is her creativity. She effortlessly incorporates fun and engaging activities into the curriculum, sparking the children's imagination and thirst for knowledge. Whether it's organising interactive games, arts and crafts sessions, or storytelling adventures, she consistently goes above and beyond to make every day special.
