It was a great time for me in “the hostel” Jerusalem! I met amazing people who helped me a lot during my stay! Kobi is a very responsible boss! Also Im very thankful to Dana, my manager! She is beautiful and polite young lady who can explain you every details of you daily tasks and help you to learn it! She is very good at building effective working relationships and managing all kind of situations. On the top of this she knows a lot about Jerusalem and just because of her I visited amazing places I never seen before! Jerusalem is a unique city and I'm sure you will enjoy it!

Honestly this is my second volunteering experience and I will be back for sure! -Hours are fair -Work is relatively easy -Weekly meetings for communication between management and volunteers -Occasional field trips to better explore jerusalem and its outskirts -Every volunteer is encouraged to get out and explore during free time and free days -The war has affected tourism, so right now is a great time to explore and travel around with few crowds -Travel is cheap in Israel -Food is moderately priced -The experience is truly an amazing one!

I spent 3 weeks at the hostel. I was totally unaware that my commencement date was the day before the start of an important Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. So this was an added bonus for me to witness and experience this festival and what it meant for the locals and the many Jewish travelers all over the world. The work is straightforward and the hours are not long so I had lots of time to explore Jerusalem and many parts of Israel. The accommodation is typical of any backpacker's place. volunteers are well taken care of. The only down side I would say is it could get noisy in the dorm.

I can't find words to express how great was my time at Jerusalem and at the hostel... I got myself a new family and will miss those guys!! I know very few things for sure, but one of those things is that I will definitely come back to Jerusalem and to the hostel in the future. The volunteering program is fair and simple, the tasks are very light!! Thank you so much for welcoming me guys. I blindly recommend this experience to anyone coming to Israel.

Excellent location and accommodations. There's always something to do in the hostel, and there's plenty to explore nearby. Hours are reasonable and allow time to travel, plus it's a very social environment where you can quickly make new friends.
