We need support in the everyday maintenance of the House like house-sitting, cleaning-up the rooms, changing the sheets. On weekends it's more busy as hikers arrive and tourist groups arrive, and we need support more in the kitchen background, like cooking pancakes, preparing vegetables, do the washing up. We always work in team so our volunteer can choose the daily task that fits better for him / her.

This place became a home for us and we had one of the nicest experiences of our journey. Viktor and the staff working at Kohëgy will make you feel part of the crew! The 24/7 contact with nature will give you the chance to rest and reconnect with what is important (to you). Keep in mind that: -The meals are cooked by you, but the food is bought by the host. -You are 1:30 away from Budapest by public transport. -The host helps you to get to the train station during your free days and is always willing to help you with any issue you might have.

My month at the hostel has been absolutely fantastic. It's an incredible place, surrounded by nature and conveniently close to Budapest. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. Viktor and his family are incredibly kind, and the colleagues have been wonderful. From here I send a big hug to Sándor, Bes and Mate. The work itself is quite easy and it provides the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings through hiking. You can also visit Szentendre, the nearest city, or easily venture into Budapest, which is just a short distance away.

My first Worldpackers experience was in this incredible place. I confess that I was unsure at first. But after I arrived in Köhegy I fell in love with the place. Viktor and his team are fantastic, very concerned about our well being and super kind and respectful. I felt in a magical place. I learned about sustainability, developed my environmental awareness and connected with nature. Thank you köhegy for this amazing experience.

This volunteering exceed my expectations. the place is incredible, nature surrounding it, the mountain feels magical, as breathtaking scenery. Viktor and all of them are amazing people.
