At this time, we are looking for people that can arrive in the next few weeks and for a minimum of 1-month experience. In this position, we need your help with housekeeping and cleaning duties, MAXIMUM 20 hours per week. I had a great time at the Hostel and met wonderful people. Pedro and Sergio were great Managers and the job was easy to learn. It was a great first volunteering experience and I will definitely come back, even just as a guest.

God is good, In the hostel I had a good experience with the hostel, the team of managers are really good, Sergio ,Merche and Pedro, they also are really helpful and kind, I do recommend others to be volunteer in the hostel you gonna learn a lot, you gonna meet a lot of people around the world, you can improve your English, talking with the guests, and the location of the hostel it's one of the best in Edinburgh.

I really enjoyed my stay at EBH! The managers were very friendly, and they checked up on you often to make sure everything was going well. The hostel was a nice place to relax and I felt at home quickly. The other volunteers were lovely and together the work was done in 3/4 hours. It was a bit tiring at first (partly because there are lots of stairs) but the work was varied enough so every day felt different. You have a lot of time after work to explore- the hostel is right in the city centre so there is lots going on. Thank you for giving me this opportunity!

Loved my experience here at the hostel!! The managers are delightful and committed to making sure you are comfortable and feel at home, while also being super clear and communicative about required hours and duties. The hours are exactly as described, usually just 3-4 hours in the morning cleaning as a team. I, among others, extended my stay because of how much I have enjoyed my time here, and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to spend some time in beautiful Edinburgh with a beautiful group of people! ☺️
