The Experience

We are rebuilding an old family home. Besides restoring the house we aim to make the oasis green again, create a guesthouse for travelers and an educational & empowering space for the local children & women. The work is varying, for example: making bricks, building new parts of the house, taking care of the garden & animals, collecting water, digging, cooking and cleaning. The tasks are depending on the season and on the availability of water.

Will be difficult put in words every thing I felt there, but I can say that I learned things about a new world that I didn't even know existed, as I stayed longer I felt more at home as if I were part of a new family. I discovered a bit of Marroco that I had never heard of, people, landscapes, culture that i will never forget. I was very happy volunteering on the project and I am sure that was a thing that changed me forever. Said and Linde are incredible people, very kind and attentive to everyone and everything around them, they are hosts who make you fell welcome and safe all the time .

Staying with Linde and Said in tagounite was an absolute adventure. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed into their home. Linde and Said are incredibly hospitable hosts. Their project is offers a good balance of meaningful work and leisure time. The accommodation provided was cozy and a true local experience, just like the wonderful food. I would def recommend! 😄

Staying with in this the farm was a wonderful experience. Besides having the best and hospitable hosts you could ever imagine you will learn a lot about reviving this the farm and typical Moroccan culture, traditional building, food an dso much more. Along with that comes a deep sense of humility when I saw this life in comparison to our standard Western life. Being at this place will be an experience I'll keep deep in my heart and never forget and which taught me a lot about a lot of topics. Here you will laugh, pet animals, have meaningful talks and deep connections with travelers and the hosts.
