The Experience

If you wish, you can learn how to cook tajines, gamilla, couscous and other traditional Moroccan dishes, and we will all cook together for the volunteers and for ourselves :) Every day one or two people can cook, and each day/each meal we will shift. We cook three meals a day and eat all together. During cold nights we eat inside, warm nights outside while enjoying the sunset! Besides cooking, volunteers will help in other general work.

Staying with Linde and Said in tagounite was an absolute adventure. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed into their home. Linde and Said are incredibly hospitable hosts. Their project is offers a good balance of meaningful work and leisure time. The accommodation provided was cozy and a true local experience, just like the wonderful food. I would def recommend! 😄

Staying with in this the farm was a wonderful experience. Besides having the best and hospitable hosts you could ever imagine you will learn a lot about reviving this the farm and typical Moroccan culture, traditional building, food an dso much more. Along with that comes a deep sense of humility when I saw this life in comparison to our standard Western life. Being at this place will be an experience I'll keep deep in my heart and never forget and which taught me a lot about a lot of topics. Here you will laugh, pet animals, have meaningful talks and deep connections with travelers and the hosts.

Said and Linde are very cute, welcoming and friendly people. you get lern to much about sustainability, maintenance /building with local methods. During our stay we also met many other volunteers, as they come and go. Working hours are flexible and also very chill. You still need to adapt to eat very late lunch and dinner, but its always worth waiting for!!! ;))

Linde and Said are truly amazing! They really care about you and will show you the Moroccan culture perfectly. While I was here there were many other volunteers which made it even better. If you have the opportunity to come help them, I'd definitely do it!! (and the food is sooooooo good) Thanks Linde & Said for everything <3
