Me and Luis stayed there for one month and we can say that it was an incledible experience in a gorgeous place, though one month is too much because after two weeks you have already explored everything. Despite all, the experience was more than positive. the guest house is a very good place to improve and get confidence in the language because you can meet a lot of people from all over the world. Gillian and Leon are super kind and the work isn't difficult: only 2/3/4 hours in the morning (with some fast task in the afteroon). We think that it is an experience that can improve your life.

My experience in the guest house was very good, the hotel is located in a beautiful place full of hikings and beaches to go, as a hiking lover, it was amazing to me. Work was simple but had a high volume since it was holiday season so the hotel was always busy. You'll have 1 day off and they'll take you to Donegal once a week to buy your weekly food. Leon and Gillian made me feel part of their family, I enjoyed a barbecue with their family. I had a great time there and would recommend the experience for people that like nature and want to spend some time in a remote and calm place

The guest house is situated in a gorgeous place, there are a lot of beautiful trails I really enjoyed because I love hiking. Gillian and Lion are very good persons. They easily made me feel like one more of their family. I especially liked hearing their laughters at the mornings while they were chatting with the guests. Another positive thing in the guest house is you will meet people around the world, for me it was so good, and I could improve my English conversations with different accents and I made friends from different countries. I spent a great time there, and I will miss some things, especially the hosts.

Truth be told, Leon & Gillian have a very strong limiting beliefs, I was also met with threatening behaviour from Leon, telling me I'd have my neck snapped, Even though I believe he misheard what I said, I have autism & differences are often judged by Leon & Gillian. The work consists of 4 hour days 6 days a week, although it stated you get 2 days off, which is a total fabrication of the truth, Yet if you speak up, it's your issue, even though they're the “professionals” They are controlling individuals & I do not write this out of spite, if rather someone doesn't face the same issues..

The guest house is quite lovely however the hosts are very opinionated and make situations very uncomfortable with both their temper over small issues and expressing conservative/ racist beliefs. The room is shared with Worldpackers, bathroom is communal: fine, but the lack of privacy can be irritating as the hosts barge in without knocking and often question about whereabouts on our free time. If you spend long durations in your room you're asked if you're depressed. Work is supposed to finish in the beginning of the day and is easy, however you may be asked to do tasks during free time.
