Every week is different and your jobs will range from housekeeping, cleaning,painting & gardening. Also a big part of your job is to join in on hostel activities & interact with other guests, making them feel welcome and showing them a fun time. We usually have a few volunteers at once and we're like a big family. You will make life-long friends and enjoy spending time with them in one of the most beautiful spots in Australia!

Working at the hostelwas my first experience with Worldpackers and I don't think I could have started my trip to Australia any better. I felt at home within the first few days and met great people who welcomed me so nicely. Kerry was such a sweetheart, she created a nice atmosphere and was always there for you.The work you have to do is easy and does not take much time. I have learned so much during my time here and met so many great people who I have taken to my heart. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a break from the stress of daily life.I will definetly come back

That was a great experience, we meet a lot of people from every part of the world, we also really enjoy the place, the location is perfect, to visit and get some nice moment in Wollongong...more that the work is easy 2/3h per days, and a lot of different thing to do... Also Kerrie is a very nice person, wich take care of everyone....

There is a lot of different experiences to be had at this hostel. But be prepared to meet a new standard of living that you might now be used to. Keep your expectations low and you will have a great time, but you will learn a lot through living there. I met some great friends there that I will remember for the rest of my life.

You are in the heart of Wollongong and walking distance to the beach. kerrie is a lovely laid back lady who helps you where ever she can. and the tasks are easy enough
