The Experience

We have a beautiful old building in the centre of town that needs to be restored back to its former glory. It is still operating , and has a lovely bohemian atmosphere. Also a big part of your job is to join in on hostel activities & interact with other guests, making them feel welcome and showing them a fun time. We usually have a few volunteers at any one time to form a lovely community.

I had the most incredible time at the hostel. I met so many amazing friends who quickly became like family, and the hostel itself is incredibly homey. There are lots of places to hang out with the other volunteers around the hostel. Nathan was very welcoming and the work is very easy to complete, and you get to interact with guests and volunteers from many different backgrounds. The hostel is super close to beaches, grocery stores, and the main shopping mall, and there's also some nice bars/clubs around too! I think anyone will enjoy this experience, and I cannot recommend it enough!!

I met some of the most amazing humans from all over the world at the hostel! The work is pretty straight forward and easily completed in the mornings & the managers are super flexible with off days. The hostel itself is like a boho forest which I adored. They offer quite a few amenities for you to indulge in (surf boards, boogie boards, yoga mats…) & they also have 3 dogs (they're super sweet, just a heads up)! I recommend waking up early & walking to the harbour, the sunrises are phenomenal! If you're thinking about it, do it. Thank you, the hostel!
