The Experience

We currently need some help around the house including cleaning and with some minor decorating projects . I can help you learn these skills if you haven't done them before. We also need some other general help, which may involve cleaning or gardening. Tasks may vary, we will have a lot of change in next few months and ask helpers to be adaptable. However, we will always try to give you things that go well with your strengths.

I had a wonderful time with Glyn, Danny and their hilarious dog Pancho! Glyn and Danny are incredibly kind, generous and funny. They showed me all around Devon and we took many day trips on the weekends. The local area is beautiful, the town is lively and it has some great cafes and pubs. Glyn is a fantastic cook, and relaxing all together in the evenings was definitely a highlight! The work was super varied, interesting and enjoyable. Really recommend - thank you so much :))

This is my second time volunteering with Glyn, Danny and Pancho and what a wonderful experience it's been. The tasks and hours are reasonable and shared cultural experiences with me on days off. This town has truly become a home away from home and I will miss everyone greatly!

First of all, I would like to thank you for the great experience and all the doors that volunteering has given me. Glynn and Danny are great people full of culture and history to share, Pancho is a lovely dog and the tasks are varied, the city is a quiet place with a beach nearby, ideal for those who want to live a typical experience of British life.

I absolutely love Glyn, Danny and Pancho! This has been the best Worldpackers experience I've had so far. I've extended this stay and will return again at the end of the year! From the beginning, they went out of their way to make me feel right at home. They are accommodating and reasonable with hours. The town and the locals are lovely. I highly recommend this experience! Little tip to win Pancho the chihuahua's heart: completely ignore him when you meet him. The more you try to make him like you, the less likely he will 😂

It has been such a pleasure to host you Feliz, I'm afraid you may have stolen Pancho's heart I'm actually a little worried! 😅 Danny and I have loved the joy you have brought into our lives.
Still we are now friends, and we're looking forward probably to spending Christmas with you!

It was our pleasure to host you Kaynã, you really have been one of the best working guests we have had, across all the platforms we've worked with! We are really looking forward to hosting you again later in the year, and I'm glad you found somewhere else locally in the meantime so we are seeing you regularly!
