We are a private language institute located in Villa de Leyva, Colombia, a few hours north of Bogota and we are looking for native speakers to teach their language, especially English, to students of all ages: children, teenagers and adults. We also have social impact programs and need help to go to rural schools to teach English to children from low-income families.

My second experience as a volunteer. It was great, you get to know new people and also you get to learn so many things about yourself. The experience as a teacher was great, all my classes were individual which made it easier as a first experience in the teaching field. Apart from that, I could meet the other travellers from different corners of the world. It was great as I learn about other cultures and also from the great Colombian culture too. Anaïs was also so kind and helpful at all times.

Great experience to learn spanish and to practice your english. The school is a for-profit institution, so don't go there expecting you'll have a traditional social impact on the comunity. The infrastructure is great: the school has multiple rooms with bords, markers and books. The classes have usually one or two students at time - they're very polite and eager to learn. The city is tiny and very touristic - it's a beautiful place but if you are used to a lot happening, you can get bored. The owner and all of the teachers I've met were great people and many became real friends.

Esta fue mi segunda experiencia haciendo un voluntariado. Fue una muy linda experiencia, conocí otros voluntarios de distintas partes del mundo y pude disfrutar de la vida tranquila en Villa de Leyva. El lugar es lindísimo y viene muy bien si uno quiere descansar y conectar con la naturaleza. También me gustó ser parte del instituto y disfruté muchísimo de conocer las escuelas locales rurales :) Recomiendo la experiencia
