We are a permaculture community with over 30 years of experience located in Chapada Diamantina, 7 km from Vale do Capão. We develop activities such as agroforestry, bioconstruction, reforestation, environmental protection, a garden, herbarium, artisanal soaps, among others. Our diet is ovo-lacto vegetarian and meals are always prepared in a wood-fired oven. We host visitors and volunteers and also offer courses.

My experience at the community was truly amazing and enriching. The hosts were very friendly and made me feel safe and welcomed! I had the opportunity to meet a lot of international travelers and volunteers and made a few really good friends. The community is a special place, even through a rainy quiet period there I left feeling so much love for the residents. They've created something beautiful there. The nature and water is healing, the vibes are good and there's a lot to do if you create it.

The community is a beautiful place. I would recommend anyone to come see what they have created over a period of 30+ years. Meals are usually tasty and good. The work is interesting and the location in Chapada Diamantina is perfect. There are usually many interesting people around. That you can learn from and get inspired by.

It was a lot of fun and a very meaningful experience. It's the most beautiful nature I have ever seen in my life, and the people there are very kind and friendly. It's a great place to practice and learn Portuguese, connect with nature, and get to know the local culture. You can learn about the lifestyle of people who live in nature rather than the big city. The atmosphere is amazing, and I highly recommend volunteering there. You'll miss out on many incredible things if you don't do it.

Volunteering at the community was an amazing experience:) The community is living in harmony with each other and the beautiful calm nature around, where I was able to reconnect with myself. You have a lot of magical places to hike and relax around and the vibrant village capaõ is very close. The moment I arrived everyone made sure I feel comfortable and I could really feel the strong community feeling they created, like a family. There was something new to learn everyday about natural soap making, agroforesty, gardening, cooking healthy vegetarian food and how to organize a harmonious community.
