Hello! My name is Joao and I own a Hostel in Porto, Portugal. We are always looking to host dynamic, responsible people who want to help out in exchange for their stay. Knowledge of English is crucial, knowledge of Portuguese is a big Plus! Spanish also good. Work includes: performing check-ins\reception duties, general cleaning duties, taking care of Greta (our mascot dog) , helping out our guests.

The experience in the hostel couldn't be better, the vibe in this place is amazing! João, Marta and the other volunteers are incredibly nice, I felt at home all the time. The work schedule is very flexible and gives time to explore the city and surroundings, to meet people and enjoy the beautiful Porto. I feel very lucky to have found this place. Next week I'll be back as a guest haha Thanks for everything and see you soon!

Fue una experiencia increíble! Desde el primer día, el anfitrión y todo el equipo de trabajadores fueron muy amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar en todo lo que necesité. Te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Además, contar con habitación privada hizo que la estancia fuera súper cómoda y tranquila para descansar después de cada jornada. El ambiente de trabajo es muy positivo, la convivencia con los demás es genial y la organización fue impecable. Recomiendo este voluntariado al 100% a cualquiera que busque una gran experiencia.

(Estou disponível a responder qualquer dúvida sobre a experiência antes de você ir ) Mas não posso recomendar esse anfitrião . O combinado seria eu ficar 2 meses , mas fiquei no máximo 2 semanas e tive que sair . E a outra voluntária do Chile ficou apenas uma semana e também saiu. Contei o suporte WP para saída imediata e falar sobre a experiência e sai por conta própria no mesmo dia , porque nada doque é dito em entrevista está de acordo com a real experiência. O anfitrião tem muito a melhorar em relação ao jeito que trata os voluntários , foi uma experiência difícil .

Eu adorei voluntariar no hostel! Além de todas as pessoas serem super gentis e acolhedoras, os horários são extremamente flexíveis. As instalações do hostel são incríveis, limpas e confortáveis, inclusive o quarto destinado aos voluntários. Os voluntários são tratados com muito respeito e carinho, e tive a oportunidade de praticar inglês e espanhol o tempo todo. Saio dessa experiência com o desejo de aprender francês também!
