It`s this amazing hostel and the staff can only be described as AWESOME, they are very patient with new volunteers/helpers, so friendly and welcoming as well! The other volunteers were amazing and I definitely have made some friendships here that I know I`ll take with me for the rest of my life. The work gets pretty easy as soon as you get the hang of it. When you are not working, you are free to explore the beautiful city of Haarlem with a bike provided by the hostel for free and usually, by the end of the day, volunteers and staff share a wonderful meal together!! So worth the experience!!!

The hostel very grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at “the hostel” in Haarlem, the hostel is one of the most “gezellig” (dutch word for “coziness” & "fun") places I have ever been to. The best part of this volunteering that made this an amazing volunteering experience for me, were all the volunteers and staff members that were always there to help you and cheer you up. Regarding the work, you will be taught how to everything by others, so you are never alone. Thank you to Tim and to all the volunteers for making me feel so at home and welcomed at the hostel!

This experience certainly exceeded my expectations. Haarlem is one of the most amazing cities I've ever visited, super safe and with very friendly, kind and helpful people. The hostel staff is the best I've ever met, everyone is wonderful and I loved working with them. From the beginning I felt very welcome and at home. The work itself is not difficult and is fun to do together with the other volunteers. Do yourself a favor and come here!!!! Special thanks to Tim for being the best host I could ask for. Thank you so much for all the love & attention.
