Fer was an amazing host. She invited us in the carnival preparation with his friend and for a local Cardomblè fest. It was super amazing!

Hi Nega, thank you very much for the experience and for your hospitality, I really enjoyed working with you at the lodge, I'm sorry that my situation ended up unstable, but I believe we ended up on good terms, okay!!

Fer is a wonderful woman, a natural leader. Her work with music connected me with people and with a way of appreciating music that I hadn't experienced before. I am really grateful to consider her a friend.

My days volunteering were great.. Nega is a kind, understanding and flexible person. I had never worked with construction before, and she really encouraged me to learn by getting my hands dirty, giving me all the confidence I needed! The space (her home) is very beautiful and comfortable. There is a well and a waterfall nearby and lots of nature... not to mention her pets, which are adorable. All of the arrangements were fulfilled! I really enjoyed the days I spent volunteering in Paraty with Nega!

The eco lodge is literally next to a wonderful waterfall, so close that some days I even went there to have my breakfast before starting work. Fernanda is very flexible with schedules, so you can enjoy a lot during the stay. Additionally, she introduced me to maracatu and carimbó, which I fell in love with, and we also walked together several times, we went to a beach/waterfall that was very nice and we enjoyed a festival that was happening in the city. It was a very rewarding and welcoming stay, I am very grateful.
