"the organization" was truly an exceptional experience – beautiful, insightful, and memorable. I consider myself fortunate to have embarked on my first volunteer work there, under the guidance of Alvaro and Felipe as my supervisors. They were consistently attentive to my well-being while imparting valuable insights into both Medellin's culture and the unique culture of the organization. My tasks were manageable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as part of the team and found immense fulfillment in making my own contributions. I wholeheartedly recommend the experience of working there to others.

I can't imagine a better place to work at! I learned so much about Medellin, Colombian music, dance, culture, and history. I felt very welcomed by the staff and enjoyed getting to know the other volunteers. Amazing organization and experience!!

I had a great time at the organization 'cause it really made me meet fantastic people and discover the local culture. It made me totally fall in love with Medellín and it's people. On the other hand, the work was not well organized and the working hours not fairly distributed, leaving me with almost only late shifts. The accommodation is not great, small room with almost no space for storage, no fridge, no possibility to cook. I missed a better communication regarding events and guests, I felt quite uninformed about what was happening in the place I worked and live. All in all I'm still very grateful

Positives: Alvaro is a really nice guy. He is chill and gives you a lot of freedom to work. Thank you for everything, Alvi! The foooood!!! Wow, it's definitely incredible, gonna miss that! Negatives: the living conditions aren't great. Not having a kitchen is very hard. The room is very small and there are no place to put your things comfortably. The neighborhood is a bit dangerous and there aren't many options to eat nearby and it's also pretty far from the “cool” area (poblado).

I really enjoyed my stay in Medellin at the organization. The house is located in a nice neighbourhood and allows for nice day trips within Medellín. There is a lot to explore close by and the metro is easily reachable by foot. The team at the organization was extremely nice and helped with all problems. The work itself was fine and I enjoyed the flexibility of deciding the working hours between the volunteers present. The dinner that is offered at the organization is amazing and the sleeping accommodations are also fine. Most of the time it was only is volunteers which stayed there and it did not get too full.
