I loved my stay at the school. Working with Ruth, Milena and Chala was always fun and I learned very much about cooking vegan the school, plating dishes and serving in a restaurant. Since we spent our time there as a couple, we were provided a private room. The atmosphere during the shifts was always great and the work has never been overwhelming, although some evenings it can get quite crowded. All in all, we spent a beautiful time in the B&B and Antwerp.

I am really grateful for my stay at the school! It was a great first experience and Alistair, Ruth, Milena and Chala made me feel really welcomed. Work can be a bit stressful, especially for someone with no experience, but I never felt under pressure or too exhausted. I learned a lot about the work in and around the kitchen and also improved my social skills. Due to their concept of working with only volunteers, i met a lot of lovely people from all around the world. All in all I couldn't have had a better first experience and if you think about applying, I can definitely recommend it!

I had a really nice experience, and I can just say thank you to all the people working in here, they were the most welcoming and kind people. The kitchen work was really interesting and you get the chance of experiment a lot while cooking. Antwerp is a lovely city with lots of nice places to visit, it's pretty calmed and quiet, I will definitely come back❤️

My time at the school was really nice and it flew by! Working with Ruth, Chala and Milena in the kitchen, as well as with the other volunteers, was fun and chill and I loved learning more about preparing vegan and healthy meals. The volunteers there were really interesting and welcoming people. Our schedules were flexible, although some shifts could be a bit tiring. The room I stayed in was very nice, but didn't have a shower, so I had to use one in the other volunteers rooms. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommended it! 🥰

I spent three months volunteering at the school and I can 100% recommend this experience. Alistair, Ruth and Milena are very welcoming and communicative. They understand that you are a volunteer and still have to learn a lot, so you can ask as many questions as you like and if you make some mistakes you receive constructive criticism instead of just being scolded. Shifts can sometimes be long or a bit stressful but stress is well-managed by the hosts and the atmosphere among team members is never really tense. Overall a really good experience.
