The Experience

Hi, We are Simone and Carol We are a hard worker Italian-Tico couple, which right now work everyday with the goal of make our place get better and better to give to our guests and volunteers a good memory to take back home and a great reason to come back and stay with us again. Carol are Simone are a lovely couple. They are hard working and flexible. They also have a very clear of tasks for volunteers so there is no confusion of what to do while working. The amount of work was perfectly fine and doable. I also appreciated the openness to the ideas I brought in to improve the hostel. The place is a dream. Very central and beautifully set up. I loved staying at this hostel and enjoyed meeting so many different beautiful people, locals as well as tourists. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

It was my first time volunteering, you get a lot out of the experience in terms of meeting people and places. In terms of the volunteer work, it wasn't complicated but it could have been a better experience if the owners were more hands on the volunteer work not only the hostel.
