Description
Volunteers need to become members of Alma Com Alma Association, that pays for a membership fee and the personal accident insurance. This is mandatory for legal reasons.
What you get

- Have some time off for yourself, go explore the city or rest for a while.

- You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

- You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

- You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

The Experience
Cooking for the team they need to be in love for feeding others and cooking. We already have some vegetarian menus to follow and we are open for new ones. There are gardening tasks, honouring the chance of Farm to Table. Cooks will be responsible for Care and Hygiene of the kitchen, and all members are part of the daily cleaning team. Breakfast helpers need to love to be around people and be an early bird with joy. Shift starts at 7am <3

I had an amazing time in Quinta the organization. I will be always grateful to all the team for the love and energy that allowed us to create a beautiful atmosphere. The place is like heaven and Mario, Johana and Javi are very kind. The only thing I have to say is about the meals, we didn't have a "proper" dinner. We had access to the lunch leftovers but sometimes it wasn't enough for everybody so we had to buy food at supermarket. Thank you Quinta <3

Martina, it was a real pleasure to have you with us and your presence was very inspiring! Thank you for that and for your feedback, that allows us to clarify a couple of things.
You comment regarding the food comes a but surprising, mainly because you were mostly helping in the cooking team and in charge of bringing the ingredients for the others to have dinner in the small kitchen. As you know, our community provides ingredients for 3 balanced simple meals per day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. We cook lunch for everyone and we do our best to provide the basic ingredients for everyone to cook a balanced nutricional but simple breakfast and dinner. We dont offer everything that everyone would want according to their own personal tastes. We have a clear understanding of what is a proper meal and anything that anyone might want to add, they are invited to bring. Again, we offer a balanced, nutricional and simple diet. We understand the feeling of a great lunch when we are preparing it and that people might feel very happy with this food, then lacking behind at dinner when they are the ones that are invited to cook for themselves.

An amazing experience in a magic place in the nature. I've meet a lot of kind people. Mario and Joana are so courteous. We was around fifteen volunteers and we had incredible moments. I loved the energy of this experience

Quinta the organization is a beautiful place to connect with yourself, nature and other travellers. The tasks are clearly outlined and everyone is willing to assist you when needed. I felt comfortable and welcomed during my stay. The beaches around the farm (not walking distance) are also really beautiful. The overall energy of Quinta the organization is uplifting and relaxed.
