The whole experience was amazing. Gabi, Thibald and Carol are very kind and polite, they did everything possible to make me feel as comfortable as possible. The inn is very beautiful and quiet, a very pleasant place to spend time. The tasks were simple and the location is also very good. I was able to learn quite a bit about Buenos Aires and I fell in love with the city, which is wonderful and has everything. I am very grateful to have been welcomed and for all the affection. I wish you much prosperity, peace, love, and joy, always. Thanks for everything! 🤍

I had my first volunteer experience at the inn and it was incredible. I learned a lot about sustainability, the needs of a hotel, and also Spanish. The tasks are well explained, the schedules are organized, and, moreover, I was able to learn a lot about Buenos Aires. I loved it and, without a doubt, I would definitely recommend them!

My experience at the pousada was very good. You work 5 or 6 hours for a private room with a bathroom, the pousada is quiet, clean and silence is respected. the pousada is quiet, clean and silence is respected. They need to improve the relationship and empathy with the volunteer(s) because it is an experience, not a job.Respecting the volunteer schedule of both parties is very important. I appreciate that it awakened my curiosity about the specialty coffee. Gabi has a lovely heart

It's not volunteering, but covering the hotel's permanent needs as if it were an employment relationship. The agreements, my day off, were not respected, and when the hotel was full I had to stay after my shift to take care of the property. Additionally, the owner's treatment was disrespectful on several occasions. There is a big difference between the experience that is promoted and the reality. When I asked that my schedules be respected, I was asked to leave before finishing my volunteering and course. They ask for empathy and 'flexibility' at their convenience. All the supports are on WP; if you need information, write to me.

We regret your impression, as the experience began very well. We aim to promote an exchange based on mutual collaboration and teamwork, values that we have always shared successfully with the volunteers who joined us.
Unfortunately, with the increased activity, you were not able to adapt to the hotel’s operations, accept recommendations, and demonstrate the flexibility agreed upon, despite the meetings we had to try to achieve it. We wish you the best in your future travels.

Day 1 was heavily affected by my fatigue (I slept 1 hour on the red-eye flight). I was ready to listen to them mid-morning and to be flexible with possible changes to the schedule. I made the mistake of leaving 'just the hotel' for 1 hour. Day 2, Gabi started the talk with 'I won't adapt to you, you have to adapt to me.' I replied that there is no hierarchy; this is an exchange and the relationship is on equal terms. I tried to negotiate to stay until I found a new volunteering opportunity, they didn't accept. They require immediate adaptation. You get to know more about someone when you observe how they handle a conflict. The best thing was to leave.

D1: 5 AM, you wake us up to ask for an adapter. You arrive 3 hours late, you settle in without greeting. You complain via WA about breakfast, you don't wash your cup. We welcome you by placing you in the inn and the city: it bothers you! You abandon your task for 2 hours leaving the guests without support. Why didn't you go buy it earlier? D2: you argue, "this is a volunteer work, there is no hierarchy, I have needs." True, but all of us have to follow the hotel's protocols. This is not a joke, it's serious.
