My time at the project was great! The school is nice and close. You'll have lots of free time as school finishes around lunch time. While I was here Ecuador went into lockdown and the school closed for a time, but this allowed me to learn a bit more about the agricultural work being done. If you're lucky enough to have guest stay while you're there you get to be involved in chocolate making and excursions! Natalie and her family were so welcoming and helpful and you never have a dull conversation with Douglas. I would love to return in the future but would bring a friend this time!

Had a wonderful 2 weeks with the project supporting agriculture projects. William and Michael were so patient and explained everything in detail. Breakfast; Lunch and dinner were great. Our accomodation was very high quality and all the tap water was drinkable. We were able to go for walks in the jungle, chocolate making, playing cards, moth photography (depends on who is there). There was a good amount of spare time to do whatever you want e.g. Reading, yoga, reflecting etc. The interactive experience was amazing and we learnt a lot about sustainability. Gracias Douglas and team!

I absolutely loved my time at the project. We loved working on the sustainable agriculture projects and learning a lot about the native crops. William and Micheal were so knowledgeable and more than happy to explain everything to us in depth! We were also able to learn about beekeeping and moth photography which was very cool and was nice working alongside local Ecuadorean high school students. We saw lots of beautiful birds, frogs, monkeys, spiders and other insects. The accommodation was nice and we had hot water! The food is good but it's a lot of rice. Really recommend coming here!Thank you!

The project has many ambitious initiatives on sustainability and rainforest conservation, and I am glad and proud to make a small contribution to them. William and his family was very friendly and welcoming, task is varied and enjoyable and not usually too time-consuming. Surrounding rainforest is full of wonders, you'll wake up every morning with bird chorus and can swim in Rio Napo at the end of the day with beautiful sunset. Food is great, cabin and bathroom is very clean. Heat can be brutal, power cuts are frequent and blood-sucking midges are ferocious but definitely worthwhile experience.

I can't say enough good things about the project. They truly care about the social and environmental work they do. They are constantly working to better the area in a way that benefits sustainability and the local people. I feel like other volunteers would get a lot of fulfillment out of it! The project is gorgeous and I saw some of the most amazing wildlife. More than that, the activities I got to join in on I'll remember forever. Waterfalls, caves, river canoes, and more! Volunteers here will learn about the earth, how to learn from it, and make a lot of great memories :) Thanks the project!
