The community was the best volunteer experience I've ever had. I felt welcomed immediately and quickly felt at home. Everyone was kind, funny, loving, and felt like family. I loved the strong sense of community, sharing meals, and working together. The work was enjoyable and balanced, and the hosts were patient teachers who shared so much knowledge about eco-building, culture, and life. I learned a lot and left with a new perspective on community and living. I would recommend this experience to anyone and can't wait to come back!

This was easily one of the most beautiful, impactful, and special places we have ever been to. We were only there a month, but it quickly felt like home. Lidia is an incrediblly kind, wise, genuine person- and a fantastic cook. Varinia is so funny, sweet and a joy to be around. She will always put a smile on your face. Igor is kind, encouraging, wise, and funny. We can not recommend this place enough. We were able to experience the culture, learn about eco building, and how to care for animals and the environment. Most of all we will miss living in community with everyone at the community.

I had a wonderful time here and learned so much—not just the language, but also a lot about life. Everyone was so nice, and I always felt welcome.
