When I showed up in the Center it took them two days to respond. So I was left waiting around town. Decided I didn't want to work for people with poor communication and never actually made it to the facility

If you want to connect with nature and are keen to experience how it is to live without electricity and running water, this experience is for you. Be ready to tap into bioconstruction! The host Alma is living in the middle of the jungle with her son Luis and normally 5-10 volunteers. She is willing to take you on lovely trips on free days which I really enjoyed. There were volunteers from all around the world, in our time from Argentina, Israel, Sweden and Mexico which was a great mix. One tip: Bring a mosquito net if you can.

The project is still in a construction phase. Therefore, the focus is more on constriction work and not on the holistic therapy itself. I had fun building in bio constructional ways. If you seek for a time outside of the normal life, meaning without running water and electricity, this is a perfect place for you. Personally, this experiment grounded me. A hint from my side is to bring a mosquito net or a little tent if you have one. I enjoyed this minimalistic experience!

Todo el proyecto que se está llevando a cabo en este lugar es de gran impacto tanto a nivel social como a nivel individual , se aprende mucho en el centro y también se comparten momentos divertidos y comidas deliciosas... Hay mucho por hacer aún .. es un proyecto que está creciendo y cada vez más... Estoy segura que en poco tiempo las semillas que Alma y todo su equipo de trabajo han sembrado, empezarán a dar frutos... Gracias por tanto 💚💚
