I loved to be a part of the beach clean up event as you make a true environmental impact and also gain more personal consciousness regarding the amount of waste that is thrown away every day. Highly recommend!

I had such an amazing time working at the hostel, the other volunteers made me feel part of the team from the start and over time they became like family. My only regret is that I wish I stayed longer!

Isa and Nico have always been very welcoming and supportive even before I arrived at the hostel, always replying to my questions. Once there, I immediately felt welcomed. I didn't speak much Portuguese and only a few people spoke English or Spanish, but this has not been a problem at all, the team was ready to find a way to understand and communicate with me. Of course, you need to come with an open mind and flexibility as you are sharing your time and your space, that's part of the hostel life! Everyone is respected and the hosts are ready to listen to you. I made incredible friends <3
