The Experience

A função é a de controlar o acesso durante toda a noite. A noite na Sangha Urbana costuma ser atipicamente calma. Nossos hóspedes, em geral, são mais do dia que da noite. Mas, claro, muitos saem à noite. Mesmo assim, é incomum haver problemas à noite. A função é controlar a entrada no hostel durante à noite limitando o acesso apenas a quem já está com check-in feito. Um ou outro checkout cedo. E ajudar a manter a limpeza dos banheiros.

The hostel Is a very special place to stay, of which I really appreciated the relaxed vibe, the eco-friendly ethic and awareness that it promotes! The owner Marcus is a very dedicated entrepreneur, very kind, helpful and always present in case of needs. The timetable is perfectly respected and tasks are very easy (I would recommend to be able to speak at least basic Portuguese). The hostel is very attractive for people who wants to explore and enjoy the amazing city of Rio, while staying in a chill place (eg. perfect for digital nomads). Thank you Marcus for the great experience!

As I only worked one day, I don't have much to tell you. But the hostel is well set up, clean, very well decorated and with an innovative concept. I was very well received by the other volunteers and we had an incredible exchange.

Minha experiência no hostel o hostel foi extraordinária. Sou imensamente grato ao anfitrião, Marcus, por proporcionar uma vivência que tanto enriqueceu meu espírito e corpo. Este lugar é especial, e por isso decidi ficar além do planejado. Sem dúvidas voltaria várias Vezes ao ano ou até moraria aqui kkkk Estar no coração do Rio de Janeiro foi uma imersão cultural incrível. As instalações são excelentes e confortáveis, e a energia do lugar é contagiante. Obrigado por essa oportunidade transformadora! Ótima experiência, ideal para primeiro voluntariado! O anfitrião e os outros voluntários foram muito queridos, ajudaram a ensinar o serviço a ser feito que aliás é muito tranquilo, conheci pessoas incríveis, o hostel é uma paz e fica perto de bastante lugar cultural além de ter metrô perto que possibilita ir para a praia, a jornada de trabalho permite que você viva bastante o Rio de Janeiro.
