The Experience

This position cares for a diverse subtropical agro-forest with a variety of tropical fruits and nuts. Principal crops are coffee and macadamia nuts. Bananas, avocados, papayas, and citrus are secondary crops and are shared with guest workers. Most of the help is with manual work such as harvesting nuts and ripe coffee, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing. The use of mechanized weed whips, back blowers and shredders may also be required.
