My name is Fausto and about 25 years ago I started my camping on a family plot in the southern Piedmont countryside, on the border of the Apennines. From the first pitches we have grown more and more but maintaining the family and spontaneous spirit. This is my first ever volunteering experience and it was everything I could have hoped for. It was an amazing opportunity to learn more about small-town Italian culture and immerse yourself in a stunning natural environment. The work tasks are simple and may vary day to day depending on how busy the campsite is. My favourite aspect was 100% the people… Fausto is a lively soul who has so much passion for the campsite. Federico is very compassionate and makes the daily work tasks go by quickly. Camilla is so thoughtful and always finding ways to brighten your day. Grazie mille 🫶

From the moment I arrived, I felt completely welcomed. The volunteers' infrastructure is great, the work is simple, and they're always helpful. They're super flexible about rest days if you want to visit somewhere nearby. I'm so grateful for having spent such a great time with them. I can't wait to go back. This was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have asked for a better place to start. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with so much kindness and care! The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature. Fausto is such a funny and lively person who kept the energy light and fun. Federico was always thoughtful, checking in on me making sure I was okay, which meant a lot to me. Camila is truly a sweet soul and also an amazing cook!
