Amazing place, Gabrielle is very very kind and friendly, always including everyone in every activity. The hostel feels like it has a family, and that we (the volunteers) are part of it. The tasks are easy to do, and I even think she should ask a bit more in exchange for all the awesome things she offers.

Gabi is a wonderful host, and the home is a nice cozy hostel a short walk from the center of SĆ£o JoĆ£o. Everyone I met was so kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend this volunteering experience for someone seeking a relaxed stay in the heart of Minas Gerais.

Hi everyone, I'm Bianca and I'm 21 years old. It was my first time in Brazil and my first time with world packers. I don't know the language and I was completely alone for the trip, but Gabi took care of me all the time, she answered all my questions and was very kind. When I was in the hostel everyone helped me adapt and understand things. I practiced my English and started learning some Portuguese too. I tried many typical dishes and visited the city which is safe (more than big cities) The place is beautiful and peaceful, and it gives you a lot of āthe homeā!

SĆ³ gratidĆ£o pra essa experiĆŖncia com a anfitriĆ£ Gabi e a LaĆs! O pessoal do hostel Ć© super receptivo, acolhedor e carismĆ”tico. Me integrei desde o primeiro dia na equipe e me senti em casa. O hostel Ć© organizado, limpo e as atividades sĆ£o bem planejadas pra que tenha um equilĆbrio das funƧƵes entre todos! Os horĆ”rios, turnos e atividades sĆ£o respeitadas, inclusive as folgas. Tudo Ć© combinado com antecedĆŖncia. O lugar Ć© bem good vibes e nem vi os dias passarem. Realizei muitos passeios com a Gabi e LaĆs. Tive alguns imprevistos mĆ©dicos e a Gabi nĆ£o mediu esforƧos para me auxiliar!! Recomendo ā¤ļø
